According to the results of the announcement of the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) in 2024, Hanoi scored 43.7747 points; ranked 29th out of 63 provinces and cities; held the position of group 2 - Medium - High group. With the results of the PAPI Index 2024, Hanoi has completed the term target - ranked 2nd out of 6 provinces and cities directly under the Central Government (after Hue city, newly added in 2024). However, in addition to the high-scoring content axes, there are still content axes in the low group, requiring the city to have specific solutions to continue improving the PAPI Index in 2025.
