Coffee price forecast for tomorrow, April 2, 2025, continues to decrease

The coffee price forecast for April 2, 2025 shows that the market may continue to decline a bit, but there is nothing to worry about. Experts simply say that the upcoming coffee price may remain stable or decrease slightly because many people are selling to make a profit, plus there is a lot of coffee on the market right now. However, if you look further, coffee prices will remain high, so growers do not need to worry too much.

Looking back at recent times, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor has been fluctuating steadily, like one week it increases and the next week it decreases. Meanwhile, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor has been falling continuously, no longer maintaining the high level as last month. Recently, both types of coffee have been “groping around”, with no clear direction. The reason is that the weather forecast in Brazil – where a lot of coffee is grown – is about to bring rain, easing concerns about drought.

In Vietnam and Indonesia, where Robusta is a major source, there is currently not much supply. Vietnamese farmers are holding back their coffee, waiting for better prices to sell, while in Indonesia, the harvest is almost over, so there is also little supply. A coffee trader said that Vietnam is now the main source of Robusta, but farmers are in no hurry to sell because they have enough money to get by. Fortunately, despite the dry season, there is still enough water to irrigate coffee trees in Vietnam.

However, the most important factor affecting coffee prices on April 2, 2025 is still the weather in Vietnam and Brazil. If La Niña occurs at the end of the year – a type of weather that causes a lot of rain – the coffee crop may change, causing prices to fluctuate unpredictably. In general, coffee prices may decrease slightly tomorrow, but in the long term, there are still good opportunities for growers.
