To serve the construction of the drainage system, the first 500m of the C12 road project to relieve congestion at Tan Son Nhat gateway will be opened to traffic from June 26.

Recorded on June 25, at the intersection of Cong Hoa Street and C12 Street (Tan Binh District), the section adjacent to the above construction site has been posted with a traffic adjustment notice.

The announcement clearly states: From June 26, vehicles are prohibited from passing through the existing barrier on C12 road (the old, small road section, only about 4m wide, from Nguyen Duc Thuan to Cong Hoa).

Vehicles will travel normally on the newly expanded 30m, 500m long road.

Accordingly, the above area belongs to package number 13, which is also the final section of the project route connecting Tran Quoc Hoan to Cong Hoa street.

The project includes construction of roads, retaining walls, sidewalks, drainage and is scheduled to start on September 12, 2023.

In the near future, the old C12 road and the new extension will be merged into the connecting road project, forming a new large-scale traffic axis running parallel to Cong Hoa road.

The Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project is a key traffic project in Ho Chi Minh City with a length of nearly 4km and a scale of 6 lanes. The total investment of the project is more than 4,800 billion VND. After completion, the project will help connect Tan Son Nhat T3 terminal.

Bank sells billion-dollar real estate in Phu Quoc

The collateral for the above debt is 4 land use rights at the Hoang Hai complex tourist area project, Duong Bao hamlet, Duong To commune, Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province.

These plots of land have an area of 187 - ^200m2 , owned by Hoang Hai Phu Quoc Housing Development Investment Joint Stock Company. The starting price offered by the bank is 45.67 billion VND.

On the same day, June 27, Agribank also announced that it would auction the debt of Manh Loan Construction and Trading Company Limited with the collateral of 6 land use rights belonging to the Hoang Hai complex tourism project in Phu Quoc. The starting price of 6 land lots (area ranging from 187 - ^707m2 ) is 90 billion VND.

In addition, Green-Art Landscape Infrastructure JSC also has 3 land use rights at the Hoang Hai complex tourism project used as collateral for loans at Agribank. At the same time, Agribank will auction to recover debt with a starting price of 33 billion VND.

Recently, the fight against prostitution in Ho Chi Minh City has had many positive changes. In the first 6 months of the year, Ho Chi Minh City Police have cracked down on 3 large-scale prostitution brokerage cases organized by foreigners operating in restaurants, seizing nearly 22 billion VND.

However, the situation of prostitution in the area is still quite complicated. Currently, there is a situation where people use private groups and private forums to organize prostitution activities.

However, on some roads and areas, there is a tendency for people suspected of selling sex in public places to reappear, such as around Phu Lam Park (District 6), Ngo Gia Tu Street (District 5), Dao Duy Tu Street (District 10), and Nguyen Chi Thanh Street (Districts 5 and 10).

Besides, Ho Chi Minh City currently has 4,296 service businesses that are prone to prostitution.

Of these, 657 places were suspected of prostitution and 883 places were suspected of pornography and arousal. There were 994 employees suspected of prostitution and 1,526 employees suspected of pornography and arousal.

In public areas, the city still has 16 locations, gathering places, and routes in 17 wards and communes with about 60 suspected sex workers standing on the street or using motorbikes to solicit customers to buy sex. During the reporting period, the total number of sex workers was estimated at about 1,202 people.

In the first 6 months of the year, the authorities organized 125 raids on prostitution in public places, discovering 9 cases of prostitution. In addition, they destroyed 106 cases at service establishments, discovering 564 violators of buying or selling sex.

Ho Chi Minh City handled 446 administrative violations and filed criminal cases against 118 subjects for prostitution and prostitution brokerage.
