Lam Viet Wood Joint Stock Company was established in 2002, specializing in manufacturing and exporting interior and exterior furniture to the UK, US and European markets. The company currently has about 800 employees; revenue in 2024 will reach 900 billion VND; labor productivity will be about 1.1 billion VND/person/year.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - CEO of Lam Viet Joint Stock Company said that as a business that has worked with "difficult" markets in the world for many years, Lam Viet Joint Stock Company continuously adapts to increasingly strict requirements from partners. Therefore, the Company is interested in investing in categories related to green transformation, digital transformation, circular transformation and carbon transformation.

The company has applied the ERP system to each production stage, publicizing the origin of the products and allowing accurate traceability of product information and the legal origin of the Company's wood at each production and consumption step. At the same time, it builds greenhouse gas inventory reports from the software. In addition, the company also uses software to manage, maintain and repair machinery and equipment and automatic salary advance software for employees.

In the period 2025-2030, the Company has developed an action plan to reduce emissions by 10% per year compared to 2024.

At the meeting, provincial leaders and departments and localities discussed and answered a number of recommendations from businesses on procedures for extending operating time; digital transformation, green transformation; the formation of a wood materials center in Binh Duong , etc.

The Secretary said that the good implementation of digital transformation, green transformation, automation, and care for workers' lives... has helped improve labor productivity, bringing businesses deeper into the global value chain.

The Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments and branches to implement specific activities in digital transformation and green transformation at enterprises such as implementing software to manage industrial parks and carbon credit control programs. The Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to coordinate with departments and branches to resolve the Company's recommendations related to extending the operating period, solar power, establishing industrial clusters, and wood material centers in Binh Duong, etc.
