Homeland sentiment in a collection of spring poems

(QBĐT) - Holding this beautiful poetry collection in my hands, like a New Year's greeting card, I couldn't help but exclaim, "It's so lovely!" Turning the pages of this beautiful book, reading each beautiful verse, I silently reflected on the good things that spring has brought to all of us, especially the artists and writers in my homeland of Le.

This is the collection of poems by Le Thuy celebrating the Party and the Spring of the Year of the Snake (2015) by the Le Thuy Literature and Arts Association. The book was published by Thuan Hoa Publishing House in October 2024. The poetry collection expresses the heartfelt, passionate, and captivating feelings of poets towards the Party and spring. In other words, the Party and spring are the endless source of inspiration for the continuous creativity of the artists and writers in the homeland of the General.

The Le Thuy Poetry Collection celebrates the Party and the spring season.

This poetry collection brings together 45 authors from the Le Thuy branch of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts and several other localities in Quang Binh province. With 79 poems dedicated to the cause, the collection encapsulates heartfelt sentiments, thoughts, emotions, and memories; pride and gratitude towards the glorious Party and the everlasting spirit of spring. It can be said that this poetry collection is a priceless gift presented to readers near and far during the Tet holiday and the arrival of spring.

Mentioning spring fills the hearts of every Vietnamese person with pride in the glorious Party and the infinitely beloved Uncle Ho! Because "Our Party is the savior/The Party brings the light of faith to life" ( Our Party - Nhat Nam). In the darkness of prison and torment, the Party illuminated the path, charting the revolutionary road that shone a light on the way for the entire nation:

Traditional boat racing on the Kien Giang River has become a national intangible cultural heritage, so that every autumn, the people of Le Thuy and visitors from all over flock here to celebrate the festival: "Will you come to this festival?!/The Kien Giang River has begun to stir/The village boys' shouts blend with the drums/The flag flies, the General's affection overflows" ( Will you come to this festival?! - Do Duc Thuan).

Come to Le Thuy to fully experience the warmth and kindness of this land, with its simple and loyal people. Come to entrust your dreams and aspirations… These are the overflowing emotions that readers can easily find in each shimmering verse:

Le Thuy is a land of blooming flowers. Every spring, the banks of the Kien Giang River, heavy with alluvial soil, are covered with clusters of yellow flowers such as the "bun" flower, "gieng gieng" flower, and mustard flowers, evoking feelings of nostalgia and enchantment: "Meeting the red kapok flowers by the roadside in March / Suddenly remembering that the yellow 'bun' flowers are also blooming this season / Kien Giang, my homeland, with its banks eroding and building up / The green river has carried the color of flowers for generations" ( Kien Giang Bun Flower - Dang Hieu Dan).
