Visiting the Maintenance and Repair Station with the commander of Warehouse 91 (Warehouse K76), from outside the door, we could smell the unpleasant smell of burning oil. Yet inside the station, the officers and employees were still attentively and diligently cleaning and preserving the artillery shells. The drops of sweat on their faces, the dusty work clothes, and the greasy gloves partly showed the hard work that the warehouse soldiers were undertaking.

Pausing to share with us, Major Nguyen Quang Phuoc, Head of the Maintenance and Repair Station, said: “Each type of ammunition has a strict preservation process, requiring us to have a firm grasp of each stage in the technological process and work with concentration, care, and meticulousness to ensure absolute safety. The work is dangerous, the working environment is often exposed to foul, toxic grease, but everyone tries to overcome difficulties to complete the task well.”
At this time, the staff of Warehouse 44 (Warehouse K76) are also struggling to keep up with the work progress. Major Dang Huu Cuong, Head of Warehouse 44, said: “The unit receives many different types of technical materials, so the work of arranging, preserving, maintaining, and distributing is very busy. Meanwhile, the unit's staff is small and scattered, so many departments have to work overtime, even on holidays. Despite the difficulties and hardships, the staff do not mind, they are very active and proactive with the assigned work."

Carrying out the peak emulation campaign with the theme "Lightning Speed - Determined to Win", in recent times, the soldiers of Warehouse K76 have always upheld the spirit of "One person doing the work of two", "Finish the work, not run out of time". Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Chi, Political Commissar of Warehouse K76, said: "The unit has strengthened propaganda and education about the nation's indomitable fighting tradition, the heroic tradition of the Army, Military Region 3, especially the position, significance and great stature of the Great Spring Victory in 1975, the 63-year history of building, fighting and growing up of the Warehouse. This has aroused national pride, urged cadres, employees and soldiers to uphold their responsibility, be active and proactive in their work".
Warehouse K76 regularly receives, preserves, maintains, repairs, stores, and issues large quantities of weapons, technical equipment, and ammunition of various types. The work is busy, arduous, toxic, and dangerous, while the warehouses have been degraded after many years of use, and replacement materials are lacking... Given the above characteristics, the Party Committee and the command of Warehouse K76 directed the emulation campaign to overcome difficulties and focus on completing professional and technical work well.

The sub-warehouses have combined the implementation of the peak emulation campaign with the promotion of the Campaign "Management, exploitation of weapons, technical equipment well, durable, safe, economical and traffic safety", and at the same time vigorously implemented the movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Promoting initiatives, technical improvements" to promote the proactive and creative spirit of officers and employees in performing tasks. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Nghia, Head of Warehouse K76, said: "The warehouse completed 112% of the technical and professional work targets of the first quarter of this year, contributing to ensuring the correct and sufficient quantity and good quality of weapons and technical equipment for agencies and units in the Armed Forces of Military Region 3 to perform regular and ad hoc tasks. In particular, the unit has just successfully completed the plan to handle dangerous level 5 ammunition, ensuring absolute safety".
In addition to completing ahead of schedule and technical and professional work targets, the sub-depots of Warehouse K76 also strictly maintained discipline and combat readiness, coordinated with forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in the stationed area; organized training for subjects according to plans, programs, and contents, ensuring 100% of the military personnel; the results of the inspection of departments and sections were 100% satisfactory, of which over 75% were good and excellent. The quality of building a regular discipline was improved, 100% of officers, employees, and soldiers strictly complied with the laws of the State and military discipline.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thi, Political Commissar of Warehouse K76, added: Agencies and units are actively implementing many practical welcoming projects such as building concentrated production areas, renovating sports grounds, and renovating youth campuses with a total value of nearly 600 million VND. In addition, units organize many cultural and artistic exchange activities, physical training and sports, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere; coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to visit and give gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people, contributing to the good implementation of the Army's rear policy work, building a position of people's hearts in the stationed areas.
