The regiment has focused oneducating and raising awareness among officers and soldiers in the unit about the position, role and great significance of mass mobilization work, building a safe unit and safe area in the current period. Building from within starts with solidarity, honesty, loving others as if loving oneself for officers and soldiers, and loving family, relatives and local people.

In addition, emulation movements such as: "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", "The Army joins hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "The Army joins hands for community health"... were also enthusiastically responded to and actively participated in by the Regiment.

Regiment 58 organizes civil activities and exchanges in the area where it is stationed.

Identifying the construction of safe units and safe areas as one of the top important political tasks; the unit has proactively implemented many measures, methods, and models with specific contents, bringing practical results in the construction of safe areas, suitable to the characteristics and situation of the unit and the locality where it is stationed.

Accordingly, the unit maintains a disciplined mass mobilization work, proactively grasps the situation of the unit and the locality, carries out propaganda and mobilization work to well implement all Party guidelines and policies, State policies and laws, and local regulations; heightens revolutionary vigilance, fights to defeat the plots of " peaceful evolution" and violent overthrow by hostile forces.

At the same time, the unit has coordinated well the exchange activities such as: Participating in helping the local government and people to build new rural areas, clean up the residential environment and build rural flower roads; cultural and artistic exchanges, physical training and sports on important holidays of the Party, State, Army, and the unit. Carrying out well the exchange of information with the Party Committee, government and functional agencies, grasping the political security situation - social order and safety, proposing effective preventive measures to maintain social order and safety in the area.

In addition, the Regiment has actively fought in cyberspace, promptly managed and oriented cadres, soldiers and people in the stationed unit about complex and sensitive information. Regularly posting articles on social networking sites to spread examples of good people and good deeds; promptly orienting thoughts, providing official information before major political events of the country as well as to fight and refute false, reactionary, distorted arguments and toxic information of hostile forces.

At the same time, the Regiment has coordinated with friendly units stationed in the area and local authorities to effectively organize the activities of the Local Sub-Cluster.

Through the activities of the Sub-Cluster, the units have grasped the situation, promoted preventive measures, and fought against all types of crimes, promoted the combined strength of the entire local political system and the armed forces, contributed to ensuring national security, maintaining social order in the new situation, and mobilized the active participation of the people in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

Talking about the experience in implementing mass mobilization work, building safe units and safe areas, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Cong, Political Commissar of the Regiment shared: "One of the measures that the Party Committee and the Regiment's commanders pay attention to and focus on is to regularly coordinate with local departments, branches and organizations to develop a mass mobilization plan that is close to the specific conditions of each locality, helping people with practical and effective actions, while "relying on the people" to grasp the political security situation in the stationed area, promptly detecting and handling arising issues, ensuring the safety of local and unit activities. In addition, strengthening the orientation for cadres, soldiers and people in the stationed unit's area about complex and sensitive information. Fighting and refuting false, reactionary, distorted arguments and malicious information of hostile forces, especially in cyberspace".

Carrying out well the mass mobilization work and building a safe unit and safe area of ​​Regiment 58 with many effective activities and jobs leaving a good impression, building a deep attachment between the units and local Party committees, authorities and people; contributing to building a strong political base, developing the socio-economy, building a strong and comprehensive unit that is "exemplary and typical".
