Organizing the third "October - Digital Consumption Month" with many attractive incentives

National Digital Transformation Day 2024 is organized with the theme "Universalizing digital infrastructure and innovating digital applications to develop the digital economy - New driving force for economic growth and labor productivity".

Since June 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications has approved the plan, assigned tasks to its affiliated units, and requested ministries, branches, localities and enterprises to participate in implementing activities in response to National Digital Transformation Day.

The program "October - Digital Consumption Month" is also an important activity prepared by the National Digital Transformation Agency and units in the Ministry of Information and Communications. Activities in "October - Digital Consumption Month" will focus on the pillars of the digital economy, aiming to create value to serve social needs, so that people can enjoy preferential policies when using digital products and services. The program is expected to attract many businesses to participate in providing preferential policies on the use of digital products and services for people.

From now until October 1, 2024, the National Digital Transformation Authority together with units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, such as the Department of Posts; Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society; Department of Telecommunications; Department of Information Security; Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry; Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information; Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution; National Center for Electronic Authentication; Vietnam Internet Center will receive registrations from businesses wishing to participate in this incentive program.

The 'Digital Consumption Month' program in 2024 will take place from October 1 to October 31, focusing on the first 10 days of the month. The specific time for each incentive policy will be decided by businesses, but must be within the general time frame of the program. Participating businesses will publicize information about incentive policies on their websites or applications.

Previously, the Ministry of Information and Communications officially issued the identity set for National Digital Transformation Day 2024.
