(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of May 10, at Hang Kenh Communal House, Residential Group No. 7, Hang Kenh Ward (Le Chan District) organized a pilot National Festival to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), launching the pilot model of "Solidarity, prosperity, and happiness residential groups". Attending were comrades: Major General Vu Thanh Chuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the City Police Department; Tran Thu Huong, Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; Pham Van Tan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Nguyen Hoang Linh, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee.

At the Festival, delegates, officials and local people reviewed the heroic history of Hai Phong city over the past 70 years. Proud of the 70-year tradition of building and developing the city, over the years, the people of Residential Group No. 7 in particular and Hang Kenh Ward in general have always promoted the spirit of solidarity, actively participated in patriotic emulation movements, maintained security and order, environmental sanitation, cared for the poor, policy families, practiced a cultural lifestyle, contributing to building the ward increasingly bright - green - clean - beautiful - civilized. In particular, people actively participate in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", the movement "Saturday with the people", the models "All people participate in ensuring traffic order and safety, complying with road traffic laws", "Waste classification at source", "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe residential groups"... These are specific and practical actions that contribute to improving the quality of life of the people themselves, demonstrating a sense of responsibility towards the community and the city.
