This morning (March 29), Da Nang solemnly held the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City. The ceremony was attended by General Secretary To Lam and many leaders of the Party and State.

Also present were Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia (from left to right, from top to bottom).

Speaking at the event, General Secretary To Lam affirmed that Da Nang always holds an important position in the wars to protect the Fatherland and develop the country.

According to the General Secretary, Da Nang must become an international trade center, an attractive destination for investors and tourists, and a place where talents converge.

General Secretary To Lam awarded the First Class Labor Medal to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang City.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, gave a speech of thanks at the celebration ceremony.

Representatives of veterans who participated in liberating the city and representatives of the city's young generation spoke at the commemoration ceremony.
