General Secretary To Lam and the high-level Vietnamese delegation attended a roundtable discussion with leading artificial intelligence (AI) strategists and technology experts from the UK and around the world in London.

The General Secretary emphasized that Vietnam identifies science and technology and digital transformation as top breakthroughs for rapid, sustainable development and advancement in the global value chain. Therefore, Vietnam wishes to collaborate with advanced countries to share common visions and values ​​in building a better world where AI serves humanity, promoting innovation, compassion, peace , and prosperity. The General Secretary stressed that Vietnam is ready to embrace and experiment with pioneering ideas.

The General Secretary stated that he would instruct relevant agencies to research and coordinate efforts to clarify the content, and then proceed with concrete steps to transform the idea into projects and programs in Vietnam.

The General Secretary expressed his hope that in the future, experts will continue to accompany and support Vietnam's development in AI in particular and science and technology in general, especially in the three priority areas.
