The above activity is part of a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ba Son Corporation's traditional day and the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, thereby strengthening the relationship between the army and the people in the area where the Corporation is headquartered.
At the ceremony, Colonel Phan Van Binh, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Corporation, performed the handover ceremony of the construction and repair of the "Comrades' House" to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tiep (in Phuoc Son quarter, Tan Phuoc ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung (in Song Vinh quarter, Tan Phuoc ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tiep is the son of a 4/4 disabled veteran and a 2/3 sick veteran. He has worked at the Ba Son General Corporation's Weapons - Electronics Enterprise since 2011. His wife does not have a stable job and cannot afford to build a house, so she has to live in a dormitory.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung has worked at the Pipe Factory of Ba Son Corporation since 1997. His wife died of a serious illness, and he has two underage children. Due to difficult circumstances, he cannot afford to repair his dilapidated level 4 house.
Previously, on July 16, Ba Son Corporation also handed over the "Comrade House" to Mr. Le Tat Ninh (in Nhan Hoa hamlet, Hung Thinh commune, Dong Nai province) who has been working at the Shipbuilding Enterprise since 2006, in difficult circumstances, unable to build his own house and had to rent a room.
The funding to support the construction of “Comrades’ Houses” is 80 million VND/house, and the repair of “Comrades’ Houses” is 40 million VND/house. At the house handover ceremony, Ba Son Corporation also presented household items worth 10 million VND to each case.

Also on July 17, a delegation of Ba Son Corporation visited and presented gifts from the General Department of Defense Industry to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Phan Thi Ro in Chau Hung Commune, Vinh Long Province. Heroic Vietnamese Mother Phan Thi Ro has been cared for since 1993.
