According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, the training course aims to raise awareness and basic knowledge of digital transformation and digital technology for leaders, commanders, officers and employees of agencies and units in the General Department. Through training and coaching on the use of shared software for commanders, officers and employees of departments, offices and agencies under the General Department, it aims to improve information technology qualifications and skills. Along with that, gradually build a team of officers and technical staff who are concurrently in charge of information technology and digital transformation as the core to advise leaders and commanders of agencies and units in promoting the development of e-Government and digital transformation at their agencies and units.

During the 1-day training, the officers and employees participating in the training listened to experts from the Military Industry-Telecoms Group introduce 4 topics including: Digital transformation thinking; some popular technologies and digital transformation in the logistics sector; information security, network security in digital transformation, some recommendations and practical solutions at Viettel ; instructions on exploiting and using office software.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Major General Nguyen Hung Thang summarized the outstanding results in the digital transformation activities of the General Department and the Army Logistics Sector; frankly pointed out the shortcomings, limitations, difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing digital transformation of the General Department and its affiliated agencies and units.

In order for the training conference to achieve its objectives, Major General Nguyen Hung Thang requested that the officers and staff participating in the training determine their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, strictly comply with the regulations of the Organizing Committee, and ensure the number of personnel throughout the training period. Emphasizing that the training content has a lot of new and abstract knowledge, the training time is short, and requires high professional quality, the Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of the General Department of Logistics requested that the officers and staff attending the training concentrate highly to acquire and master the knowledge; combine learning with practice, master what they learn, and apply it to their personal and unit work. After the training, each comrade needs to promote the core role in implementing the plan on developing e-Government towards digital Government in the Ministry of National Defense , especially the Digital Transformation Plan for Logistics in 2023.

Major General Nguyen Hung Thang suggested that teachers focus on key content; organize introductions from basic to advanced, helping students easily grasp and apply. At the same time, assign the General Staff to do a good job of preparation and coordination, helping the Organizing Committee maintain training according to approved content, program and plan; at the end of training, summarize and report to the head of the General Department and the Ministry of National Defense according to regulations.

It is known that, along with the digital transformation training conference, on this occasion, the General Department of Logistics also organized centralized information technology training at Viettel Academy.
