Total outstanding policy credit of Phuoc Son district reaches over 300 billion VND

(QNO) - On the afternoon of April 24, the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank of Phuoc Son district summarized the activities of the first quarter and set out directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

From the beginning of the year, Phuoc Son District Social Policy Bank has allocated capital to communes and towns based on the provincial capital allocation of 14.8 billion VND, and the district budget capital added to the loan source of 2.5 billion VND.

Disbursement in the first quarter was good, meeting the loan demand of 392 poor households, near-poor households, newly escaped poverty households and other policy beneficiaries with an amount of nearly 28 billion VND. Thereby, the total outstanding debt of 14 social policy credit loan programs as of March 31, 2025 was 306 billion VND with 4,621 borrowers, an increase of 6.5 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, an increase of 2.19%, reaching 100% of the assigned capital plan target.

Along with the growth in outstanding loans, credit quality was maintained, the interest rate reached 99.16%, ensuring the target assigned by the province. 186 loans due with the amount of 11.7 billion VND were completely processed, currently there is no overdue debt.

In the second quarter of 2025, Phuoc Son District Social Policy Bank will survey the needs, guide borrowers to prepare documents, disburse 100% of the capital assigned by the province and recover the expected revolving capital of more than 15 billion VND.
