The updated bulletin at 9:00 p.m. on September 11 of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that in the next 12 hours: Floods on the Thao River in Yen Bai will continue to drop to alert level 2; in Phu Tho, they will drop below alert level 1. Floods on the Lo River in Tuyen Quang and Vu Quang will drop to alert level 3. Floods on the Cau River will continue to rise above alert level 3. Floods on the Thuong River will change slowly above alert level 3. Floods on the Luc Nam River will change slowly above alert level 3. Floods on the Thai Binh River will continue to rise above alert level 3. Floods on the Hoang Long River will change slowly above alert level 3. Floods on the Red River in Hanoi will change slowly above alert level 2 and below alert level 3.
In the next 12-24 hours: Floods on Thao River in Yen Bai continue to drop to alert level 1; in Phu Tho continue to drop below alert level 1.
Floods on the Lo River in Tuyen Quang and Vu Quang will decrease to alert level 2. Floods on the Cau River will change slowly to alert level 3. Floods on the Thuong River will change slowly to above alert level 3. Floods on the Luc Nam River will change slowly to alert level 3. Warning, in the next 24 hours, the water level at downstream stations of the Red River - Thai Binh River system will rise to alert level 3 and above alert level 3. Rising flood water levels will cause flooding in low-lying areas along the river, alluvial areas outside the main dike, causing the riverbank dykes to overflow, and landslides of dykes and embankments that can seriously affect vulnerable locations along the river in the following provinces/cities: Hanoi, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh.
