President Nicolas Maduro expressed his emotion when Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam presented him with the book "The World's People's Affection for President Ho Chi Minh" in Spanish; wishing that the young generations of the two countries always imbued with and followed the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh, striving for the cause of construction and development in each country, for peace, independence and prosperity of Venezuela and Vietnam.
President Nicolas Maduro also suggested that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the United Socialist Youth Union (JPSUV) promote cooperation between the two organizations, propose practical and effective cooperation measures, and actively contribute to promoting and deepening the traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership between Venezuela and Vietnam.

For his part, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Tuong Lam sincerely thanked President Nicolas Maduro for taking the time to receive the delegation, which demonstrated his special affection and concern for the young generations of the two countries; affirming that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the United Socialist Youth Union of Venezuela always strive to live up to the expectations of the high-ranking leaders of the two parties and countries of Vietnam and Venezuela.
Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said that the Youth Union organizations of the two countries have agreed and proposed measures to further promote the friendship and cooperation between the two Youth Union organizations, in which priority is given to sharing experiences in political and ideological education, building the Youth Union organization as well as other tasks assigned by the two Parties.

During the visit and working period in Venezuela from April 24-27, the high-ranking delegation of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee led by Secretary of the Central Committee Nguyen Tuong Lam met with Vice President in charge of foreign affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Rander Pena; held talks with First Secretary of the United Socialist Youth Union (JPSUV), Minister of Youth, Grecia Colmerares; attended an exchange between the two countries' young generations, and talked about the Great Spring Victory of 1975 at the Antonio José de Sucre International Youth Leadership Training School.
The delegation also laid flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in the capital Caracas; visited the Cuartel de la Montaña memorial, paid tribute to the late President Hugo Chavez; and visited a number of historical and cultural sites in the capital Caracas and the states of Miranda and Aragua.
