Buon Ma Thuot City recognizes important contributions of businesses

On November 27, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province held a dialogue conference with businesses to listen to opinions, contributions, and respond to recommendations; consider proposals and solutions to remove difficulties of businessmen and businesses.

Leaders of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee listened to and received 28 opinions from businesses related to issues of land policy for agricultural production; procedures for leasing land to build production facilities in Tan An industrial cluster.

Guidance on the application of the decision of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee on construction of works on agricultural land to serve agricultural production; preferential policies, specific support for small and medium enterprises, start-ups in the current period, especially support for production premises, access to capital, human resource training, administrative procedures... the city's plan to improve the provincial competitiveness index (PCI), creating a more favorable, transparent and fair business environment for enterprises.

Enterprises proposed many issues related to the city's investment plan for developing transport and logistics infrastructure in the coming time; specific solutions to develop the digital economy, promote digital transformation in enterprises; orientation for developing cultural and ecological tourism and sustainable environmental protection; preferential policies to encourage enterprises to invest in green projects, reduce emissions and recycle; policies to attract highly skilled workers to work in Buon Ma Thuot City...

Leaders of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee and affiliated professional units directly respond to and resolve the recommendations of enterprises. For issues requiring consultation and discussion from competent authorities, Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee will respond in writing to entrepreneurs and enterprises as soon as possible.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City said that the business dialogue conference is an opportunity for the city's leaders, especially departments and offices, to directly listen to recommendations, reflections and proposals from businesses, thereby joining hands to remove difficulties and obstacles and have timely solutions for direction and management.

The leaders of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee hope to continue receiving frank opinions from enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the coming time to propose solutions and suggestions to help the city further improve the business environment, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development in the area.

According to the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City, as of October 2024, this locality has 4,916 operating enterprises, 131 cooperatives, and 16,823 stable business households. The collective economy has many changes, cooperatives have been reorganized and gradually operated according to the market mechanism.
