At many testing sites in Ho Chi Minh City, despite the pouring rain, many candidates still tried to arrive early. Volunteer student teams at the testing sites used umbrellas and raincoats to take candidates to the testing room. In the morning literature test, many candidates said the questions were quite easy, and many of them "got it right" so they entered the math test with a relaxed and comfortable mood.

Candidates begin math exam
According to a quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training, the total number of candidates registered to take the literature exam was 1,054,601, the total number of candidates taking the exam was 1,050,622, reaching a rate of 99.62%.
During the literature exam, 7 candidates were suspended for violating exam regulations, including 3 candidates who brought documents and 4 candidates who used mobile phones. No staff violated exam regulations.
According to the assessment of the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates violating exam regulations decreased compared to 2023 (in 2023, there were 12 candidates violating exam regulations in the literature exam).
