On the morning of November 10, the 2025 Vietnam MMA Competition Rules training course (applied according to Asian MMA Rules) officially opened at Hoa Sen University, Ho Chi Minh City.
The program is organized by the Vietnam MMA Federation in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Center and Hoa Sen University and will take place from November 10 to 13. The course aims to standardize and improve the professional qualifications of referees and sports MMA coaches.
During the training period, students will be updated with new changes in the Asian MMA Competition Rules, and will receive in-depth training on the international law system, scoring methods, refereeing procedures, technical regulations, competition safety standards and tournament organization according to Asian regional standards.

The 2025 Vietnam MMA Competition Rules Training Course gathered 85 students nationwide.
This class also aims to prepare a team of highly qualified referees and coaches to serve national MMA tournaments in 2026, as well as towards the SEA Games, Asian Games and regional tournaments.
In addition, the host university was carefully selected by the organizers because it has modern facilities, a system of training floors and standard classrooms, fully meeting the conditions for organizing intensive training courses.

The course is expected to close on November 12 and the Vietnam MMA Federation will award professional certificates to students who complete the program.
