Ho Chi Minh City honors 50 outstanding literary and artistic works

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, on the morning of April 25, at the Youth Cultural House, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports held a press conference to announce the results of the vote for 50 outstanding literary and artistic works to honor the outstanding contributions of artists and writers over the past half century.

People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, said: "Not only the professional appraisal council but also the voting conducted on digital platforms attracted more than 55,000 votes. Through this, the city shows its respect for the serious and persistent artistic work of the artists, while encouraging and motivating the creative force to continue to promote their capacity and enthusiasm to create more quality works, rich in depth, with strong influence in social life."
