Ho Chi Minh City: Fire breaks out at an air conditioner spare parts warehouse of more than 300 square meters in a residential area

On the afternoon of November 28, a major fire broke out at a warehouse containing air conditioning spare parts of over 300 square meters in alley 90, street 100, Tang Nhon Phu ward (Ho Chi Minh City). The Ho Chi Minh City Fire Police mobilized many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

According to initial information, at about 2:00 p.m. the same day, people discovered smoke and fire breaking out from the warehouse, which then spread quickly and created a large column of smoke covering the area, so they quickly reported it to the authorities.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 2 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) quickly dispatched many specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy many approaches, spray water to extinguish the fire, and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings in the residential area.

By 4 p.m., the fire was under control and completely extinguished. Many properties in the warehouse were burned, fortunately no human casualties were recorded.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are being investigated and counted by authorities.
