(CPV) - After finishing the specialized subject exam this afternoon, the entrance exam for grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City this year officially ended. One of the two cities with the highest number of candidates in the country has completed the exam's mission.

At noon on June 7, nearly 96,000 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City completed the Math exam, the final subject in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year.

At the test sites, many candidates assessed that the test was highly classified. The questions were divided into excellent and average students. The test was within the students' learning ability.

In the afternoon, candidates will take the entrance exam for specialized 10th graders and complete the corresponding subject test in 150 minutes. This year's Ho Chi Minh City 10th grade entrance exam has officially ended.

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training informed that the 10th grade exam marking will take place from June 12 to 17. The Ho Chi Minh City 10th grade exam scores will be announced on June 20.

On June 21, you will submit a request for review if the exam scores are incorrect. The review scores will be announced on June 30.

Next, on July 10, the admission scores for all public high schools were officially announced. From July 11 to August 1, successful candidates submitted their admission applications.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City has nearly 114,000 junior high school graduates, of whom 96,300 registered to take the public 10th grade exam. However, after the registration day and the first exam day, more than 800 candidates dropped out. The total enrollment target of the city's 108 public high schools is 77,300, with an admission rate of about 80%./.
