Return more than 200 million VND transferred by mistake

On June 17, Tan Thanh Commune Police, Tan Chau District (Tay Ninh) instructed people to return VND 215,654,000 to a man who transferred money to the wrong bank account and is currently living in Hanoi.

Previously, on June 10, 2025, the bank account of Ms. Truong Thi Thao Ly (born in 1987, residing in Tan Thuan hamlet, Tan Thanh commune) suddenly received the above amount of money for unknown reasons. After that, Ms. Ly went to the police station to report the incident.

CBCS instructed Ms. Ly to return the property to Mr. Nghiep.

After receiving the information, Tan Thanh Commune Police verified and determined that the above amount of money belonged to Mr. Truong Van Nghiep (residing in Hanoi ) and instructed Ms. Ly to complete the procedures to return it to Mr. Nghiep according to the correct procedure.

Receiving back the entire amount of money he had mistakenly transferred, Mr. Nghiep was very respectful and moved to thank the sense of responsibility and dedication of the officers and soldiers of Tan Thanh Commune Police for serving the people and Ms. Ly for her spirit of honesty, living beautifully and living responsibly towards society.
