Tra Ngoc Hang added that pickleball is an easy sport to play, after a few hours of getting used to it, you can play the basics, while sports like tennis, golf... require a lot of practice to be able to play well. Perhaps that is why there are so many people playing pickleball nowadays.

Having been involved in pickleball for quite some time, Tra Ngoc Hang has never participated in any official tournament. Therefore, she wanted to experience competing in a tournament to see how it feels compared to playing for fun. "Hearing that the Lao Dong Newspaper was organizing a tournament, I decided to register to participate. This is also an opportunity for me to learn and exchange in order to gain more experience to develop this sport" - Tra Ngoc Hang expressed.

Actor Huynh Quy: "Addicted" to pickleball without realizing it

Actor Huynh Quy said that when he started playing pickleball, he only thought it was for fun to exercise and improve his health, but the more he played, the more he liked it, because it was competitive and did not require as much effort as some other sports.

"This sport is like a "strange dish", at first I was a bit hesitant to try it but then I became addicted without realizing it. After a while of being friends with pickleball, I felt my health improve a lot. The tournament officially opens for registration from April 1 to June 9. Depending on the number of athletes and pairs participating, the Organizing Committee will decide on the appropriate competition format. The registration fee is 1 million VND/pair.

According to the tournament rules, the qualifying matches will take place in one set, each set of 11 points and change of field from 6 points, 2 points away is a win from 10-10 points with a final score of 15; from the knockout round, each match will take place in one set, each set of 15 points and change of field from 8 points, 2 points away is a win from 14-14 points with a final score of 21. As for the final matches, the competition will be in a 3-set, 2-win format, each set of 11 points.
