A week after suddenly causing a fever at the National Cinema Center, Feature Film Studio I released the official trailer of the movie "Peach, Pho and Piano." The trailer has very few moving images, but has somewhat recreated the tragic and heroic atmosphere of a proud historical period of the nation, in the war for independence. "Peach, Pho and Piano" recreates and is inspired by the 60-day and night war to protect Hanoi in the winter of 1946 and early 1947. The film depicts the heroic atmosphere of the capital's army and people, as well as the noble character of the people of Hanoi, expressed through the love between a young lady (Thuy Linh) and a national defense soldier (Doan Quoc Dam), an old painter who hopes to leave a valuable painting for life (People's Artist Tran Luc) and a pho-selling couple (Anh Tuan-Nguyet Hang) determined to stay and serve the soldiers... The film also features singer Tuan Hung, People's Artist Trung Hieu and some familiar faces from the Northern film industry. "Peach, Pho and Piano" is one of two State films in the plan to release and disseminate a number of films produced using the state budget, issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on February 6, 2024. Due to the limited mechanism and budget for promoting the film, it will only be shown at state-run theaters, such as the National Cinema Center, on special occasions, specifically the 2024 Lunar New Year. After the film suddenly became a hit thanks to word-of-mouth and social media, two private enterprises, Beta Media and Cinestar Vietnam, proactively contacted the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to show the film "Peach, Pho and Piano" at their theaters, and affirmed that they would submit all ticket sales revenue of the film to the State./.
