Vietnam U.17 team must beat UAE U.17 to win ticket to U.17 World Cup
Earlier that morning, the entire team continued to maintain their training pace and recover their physical condition after the match with U.17 Japan. The group of players who did not/did not play much were given specialized physical exercises in the gym to help maintain their form and readiness for competition. Meanwhile, the main players were allowed to relax and recover in the swimming pool area to regenerate energy and reduce pressure on their muscles after the intense match.

What did Tran Gia Bao say?
In an interview with the media, striker Tran Gia Bao - the hero with the 11m penalty kick in the extra time of the match against U.17 Japan - shared his feelings when stepping up to the penalty spot: "I always believe that I can do it and try my best. When I saw the ball in the net, the first thing I thought of was running out to celebrate with the whole team and the teachers". According to Gia Bao, that goal was "an extremely great motivation" for him to continue trying to improve himself, to have more opportunities to score more goals in the future.
Although he only came on as a substitute in the first two matches, Gia Bao always showed his qualities very well and was considered a "weapon up the sleeve" of coach Cristiano Roland.
The young player of HAGL Club said that he is always ready to contribute in all circumstances. “Each coach has different tactics and chooses different personnel to suit the tactics and nature of the match. Whether I enter the field in the second half or the first half, whether I start or reserve, or play the last 5 or 10 minutes, I always try my best with the strategy set by the coach,” Gia Bao emphasized.
Evaluating the opponent U.17 UAE - the U.17 Vietnam team must win to qualify for the next round, Gia Bao admitted that this is not an easy challenge: "All 3 teams in the same group as U.17 Vietnam are not easy opponents. But in the final match, when there is nothing left to lose, the whole team will fight with all their might to win."
After two consecutive matches at Okaz Stadium, coach Cristiano Roland and his team will move to King Fahd Sports City Stadium for the final match against UAE U17. In order to help the players get a good feel for the field conditions, the whole team will visit this field before the training session on April 9.
