Awarding ceremony of 'Golden Moment' photojournalism

After nearly 2 months of launching (from June 20 to August 15, 2023), the "Golden Moment" photojournalism award has received the attention of many journalists and photographers, with 4,102 single photo works and 587 photo series works by 556 authors from all over the country submitting entries.

On the afternoon of September 14, VNA held the 6th "Golden Moment" press photo award ceremony in 2023.

The award is a meaningful activity in a series of activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of VNA's traditional day (September 15, 1945 - September 15, 2023); a great playground for journalists and photographers to demonstrate their professional skills, as well as unique perspectives through photojournalistic works to reflect all aspects of political , economic, cultural-social, scientific-technical, sports life, and current events of the country on all working paths.

During the competition, the Organizing Committee and the Jury were serious, methodical, professional, objective and impartial, carried out thorough appraisal stages, and organized the scoring online and centrally.

Based on the nominations of the Jury, the Award Council decided to select 22 works to award prizes (1 special prize, no first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes...) and 28 works to display at the award ceremony.

The special prize was awarded to the work "King Cobra" SU-MK2 performed at the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Defense Exhibition 2022 by author Nguyen Tien Anh Tuan (Hanoi).
