Awarding prizes to players participating in the 1st Nghe An Province Youth and Children's Chess Tournament

Representatives of the Organizing Committee awarded 56 individual prizes, 56 team prizes and 158 consolation prizes to 14 groups at the first Nghe An Province Youth and Children's Chess Tournament held on the afternoon of August 24, in Truong Vinh ward.

The tournament attracted more than 560 young players from within and outside the province. After a day of intense competition, the tournament ended successfully. Many young players demonstrated their bravery, sharp thinking and fair-play spirit, leaving behind many great games and unforgettable impressions.

The success of the tournament not only honors outstanding faces but also contributes to spreading the chess movement among young people, opening up opportunities to discover and nurture new talents for intellectual sports .

The tournament is divided into 14 competition groups including: Age group U8 - Female, U10 - Female, U12 - Female, Open Female, U5 - Male, U6 - Male, U7 - Male, U8 - Male, U9 - Male, U10 - Male, U11 - Male, U12 - Male, U14 - Male and Open group - Male.

Among them, there are many clubs that have had a large number of athletes participating and winning many awards such as: Nghe Chess Club, Minh Duc Chess, Nghi Xuan Chess, Quynh Mai Chess, Nghe An Club, Quynh Luu Chess Club, Song Lam Chess Club...

In the end, the Organizing Committee representative awarded 56 individual prizes, 56 team prizes and 158 consolation prizes for 14 groups.

Regarding the awards, for individuals, the first prize winner will receive a cup, medal, certificate and a prize worth 700,000 VND along with gifts from the Organizing Committee.

Second Prize, the player will be awarded a medal, certificate, prize money worth 400,000 VND and gifts from the Organizing Committee.

Third Prize, the player will be awarded a medal, certificate, prize money worth 300,000 VND and gifts from the Organizing Committee. The Encouragement Prize will be awarded a trophy, certificate and gifts from the Organizing Committee.

For teams, the teams that win First, Second, Third, and Third prizes in each age group will receive medals from the Organizing Committee.

1. Hoang Nguyen Phu Quang - Quynh Mai Chess Club won the U5 men's championship.

2. Nguyen Anh Thu - Tiny Generals Club (female transferred to male division) won the U6 male championship.

3. Nguyen Sy Minh Dang - Quynh Luu Club won the U7 men's championship.

4. Le Bao Duy - Thanh Sen Club won the U8 men's championship.

5. Le Duc Minh Bao - Nghe Chess Club won the U9 men's championship.

6. Pham Gia Khang - Quynh Luu Club won the U10 men's championship.

7. Vo Dinh Khai Ca - Uyen Anh Chess Club won the U11 boys championship.

8. Vo Khanh Tuong - Song Lam Chess Club won the U12 men's championship.

9. Nguyen Bao Nam - Nghi Xuan Chess Club won the U14 men's championship.

10. Ha Duc Manh - Duy Hung Chess Club won the Open men's group.

11. Nguyen Kha Han - Son Kim 1 Club won the U8 women's championship.

12. Nguyen Thi Quynh Sam - Freestyle champion of U10 women.

13. Le Ho Ngoc Ha - Thanh Sen Club won the U12 women's championship.

14. Hoang Dieu Linh - Nghe Chess Club won the Women's Open.

Team prizes are awarded based on the aggregated individual performance of players within the same Club in each competition group.
