Award Ceremony for the LQDOJ CUP 2025 Programming Competition

DNO - On the evening of November 14th, Le Quy Don Specialized High School awarded prizes for the LQDOJ CUP 2025 programming competition to members of the national team of outstanding students in Informatics from specialized high schools nationwide.

Taking place from September, the competition consists of 6 qualifying rounds (5 rounds following the format of the national excellent student selection exam and 1 round following the standards of the international team selection exam) with 560 IT-specialized students from 58 specialized high schools.

After the qualifying rounds, 26 contestants advanced to the final round, which took place in Da Nang on November 13th and 14th.

After two days of intense and dramatic competition, the organizers selected the best contestants to award prizes. Ultimately, Nguyen Khanh Phuc (Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted, Ninh Binh) won first prize (worth 8 million VND), while Nguyen Phu Nhan (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang) and Nguyen Ngoc Lan ( Hung Yen High School for the Gifted, Hung Yen) won second prize (4 million VND each).

In addition, the organizing committee awarded 4 third prizes (2 million VND each), 8 consolation prizes (1 million VND each), and certificates of excellence to the remaining 11 contestants.

The LQDOJ CUP 2025 Programming Competition is for members of the national Informatics Olympiad team from specialized high schools nationwide. The competition is a crucial strategic preparation step for contestants to enter the national Informatics Olympiad in the 2025-2026 academic year, which will take place in December 2025.
