The Organizing Committee awarded the student who won the National Promising Writer award.
The 54th UPU International Letter Writing Competition was launched by the Universal Postal Union with the theme “Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of you”. In English: “Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of you”.
In Thanh Hoa province, there were 126,087 entries (via post in accordance with regulations) sent to the Organizing Committee of the National Competition, equal to 100% compared to 2024 and 390 entries sent to the provincial competition.
As a result, Thanh Hoa province won 2 national prizes. Those were Tran Thi Ngoc Minh, class 9B, Xi Mang Secondary School (Bim Son town) and Tao Hoang Anh, class 8B, Dien Trung Secondary School (Ba Thuoc) both won the Promising Writer prize.
The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize at the provincial level to Ly Tuong Vy, class 9A, Le Quy Don Secondary School (Bim Son town).
Regarding the provincial awards, the Organizing Committee awarded 47 individual awards, including 2 first prizes to students: Ly Tuong Vy, class 9A, Le Quy Don Secondary School (Bim Son town) and Nguyen Ngoc Bao Anh, class 5A, Lam Son Town Primary School (Tho Xuan); 6 second prizes, 9 third prizes and 30 consolation prizes.
The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize at the provincial level to Nguyen Ngoc Bao Anh, class 5A, Lam Son Town Primary School (Tho Xuan).
In addition, the Organizing Committee also selected and rewarded 10 units with the best movements and achievements in organization, deployment and implementation.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Do Huu Quyet, Head of the Organizing Committee of the UPU International Letter Writing Competition in Thanh Hoa province, emphasized: “The competition has touched on profound human values, arousing in each student a spirit of optimism, love and aspiration towards a better future. This year's theme not only stimulates students' imagination and writing ability but also contributes to nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the environment - one of the urgent global issues today".
