Donating 900 million VND to build houses for people in Hiep Duc base area

The program was organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hiep Duc district in coordination with the Happy Home Fund, An An Hoa Group Joint Stock Company and Geleximco Group on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the program were Secretary of Hiep Duc District Party Committee Pham Thi Thanh and district leaders.

At the program, Happy Roof Fund, An An Hoa Group Joint Stock Company and Geleximco Group donated 900 million VND to support the construction of 15 houses (60 million VND/house) for 15 policy households and poor households in Phuoc Gia, Phuoc Tra and Thang Phuoc communes.

Of which, An An Hoa Group Joint Stock Company donated 150 million VND, Happy Home Fund donated 150 million VND, Geleximco Group donated 600 million VND.

On behalf of the sponsors, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi To Quyen - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Executive Director of the Happy Roof Fund said that the housing construction support program is a gift of gratitude that the Happy Roof Fund and businesses want to give to the people of Quang Nam on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

"The Happy Home Fund was established with the desire to join hands with businesses and charity funds to support people in difficult circumstances with the spirit of "the rich help the poor", so that they do not fall behind and have a better life. We have been, are and want to continue to support more people in difficult circumstances in our homeland Quang Nam, the land at the forefront of the resistance war against the US to save the country" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi To Quyen shared.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung, on behalf of the provincial leaders, thanked and expressed his gratitude for the deep affection and sentiments of the Happy Home Fund and businesses for their attention, support and gratitude to the people of the mountainous district of Hiep Duc, which still faces many difficulties. This is a great and extremely meaningful gift for the people of the revolutionary base area on the occasion of the whole country preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Comrade Le Van Dung requested the leaders of Hiep Duc district to direct the implementation of housing construction support for beneficiary households before June 30, 2025; in cases where the project is not completed before June, the funds will be transferred to the commune in the new administrative unit to support and complete the construction of houses for the people.

For households receiving support, it is necessary to promote the spirit of overcoming difficulties, determination to build houses, avoid using support resources for the wrong purposes; local authorities mobilize human resources to help households complete house construction.
