Information at the meeting said that, since the launch, up to now, more than 4,500 athletes from inside and outside the province have registered to participate in the Tournament in 04 distances: 05km, 10km, 21km and 42km.

Regarding the organization, Mr. Cao Quoc Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh (the standing agency of the Organizing Committee) said that 250 volunteers from Tra Vinh University have been mobilized to support the Tournament.

The display of OCOP products and the food court at Pham Ngu Lao Park, Tra Vinh city, where the opening ceremony will take place, have also been basically prepared. Regarding the communication work for the race, the event unit has prepared to hang banners and choose songs, build scripts for the opening and closing ceremonies... In addition, regarding logistics, the organizing committee has also coordinated with localities where the race route passes through to establish points to provide drinking water, toilets...

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Operations Director of Nexus Media Joint Stock Company, informed about the professional work of the tournament.

Speaking at the meeting, sectors such as the Police and Health also provided plans to ensure security, order and health for athletes throughout the competition.

Doctor Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, informed about the work of ensuring health for athletes.

Lieutenant Colonel Ho Huu Nghiep, Head of Internal Political Security Department, Provincial Police, commented on the work of ensuring security and order for the tournament .

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien highly appreciated the preparation work and the smooth coordination between the local organizing committee and the event unit.

For the tournament to be most successful, comrade Nguyen Quynh Thien noted that the organizing committee should soon consult with the Provincial People's Committee to request the Public Security sector to reduce traffic on the roads used as running tracks for athletes.

In addition, it is necessary to promote propaganda to people in areas where athletes run to manage livestock and animals to ensure safety for athletes. On the other hand, it is necessary to mobilize people to participate in cheering for athletes, contributing to improving the professional quality of the tournament.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the professional force to regularly inspect the running routes; prepare the opening and closing ceremonies to be concise and meaningful... In particular, from now until the day the tournament takes place, the assigned units must continue to unite, focus on the assigned work and assign the standing agency - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be the focal point, promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on arising situations and problems for timely resolution.

With the theme “Energy in Harmony”, the Aikya Cross Country Marathon Tra Vinh 2025 is scheduled to take place on April 12 and 13. The tournament is organized on an expanded provincial scale and is expected to attract 3,000 - 5,000 athletes to participate. Athletes compete in 04 distances through the routes in Tra Vinh city, Chau Thanh and Cang Long. The entire cost of organizing the tournament is socialized by Aikya Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Nexus Media Joint Stock Company in coordination with departments, branches and localities in the province.
