Deploying rat prevention and production protection work

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document directing provincial departments, branches, and organizations; People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to carry out rat prevention and control work to protect crop production.

 

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to annually develop a plan to eradicate rats to protect crop production with specific measures, suitable to the farming situation, terrain, and socio-economic characteristics of the locality; launch and organize a campaign to eradicate rats simultaneously in all localities; and encourage farmers to regularly eradicate rats.

 

At the same time, coordinate with local departments, organizations and mass media agencies to widely propagate the rat extermination campaign, raise farmers' awareness of the harmful effects and effective rat extermination measures; limit the use of plastic to fence small fields to protect the environment; absolutely do not use electricity or banned drugs, drugs not on the list of drugs allowed for use in Vietnam to kill rats...
