Implementing the project to upgrade the power infrastructure at the Northeast Song Cau Industrial Park

Phu Yen Electricity Company is implementing a key power infrastructure upgrade project in Dong Bac Song Cau Industrial Park to ensure safe, continuous and reliable power supply for loads in the industrial park, especially Hoang Ha Phu Yen Paper Factory and part of Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh).

The project has a total investment of 41.4 billion VND, including key items such as increasing the capacity of the 110kV Song Cau transformer station from 1x25MVA to 1x63MVA, and constructing a new 1.4km 22kV overhead line. When completed, the project will improve the SAIDI index (average customer outage time) from 0.005 minutes/customer/year to 0.003 minutes/customer/year; at the same time, it will solve the current overload situation, creating room for development for the entire region in the coming years.

It is known that the demand for electricity in the northern region of Phu Yen is increasing with the total load in the area exceeding 36.5MW. Meanwhile, the 110kV Song Cau transformer station is currently only 1x25MVA in size, facing the risk of serious overload.
