Implementing the 2024 land use planning

Furthermore, review and prioritize key and urgent projects, public investment projects, and revenue collection projects for 2024 in the province (detailed by district-level administrative unit) to balance land use targets, especially for rice cultivation land, forestry land, and other land types. Simultaneously, consolidate the 2024 land use targets of districts and cities (including the 2024 land use target, the area of land-use conversion in 2024, especially conversion of rice cultivation land, forestry land, and other land types) to ensure that land-use conversion in 2024 and 2025 is carried out to project the province's 5-year land use target (2021-2025) in accordance with the aforementioned decisions; Organize the appraisal and submission for approval of the 2024 land use plan at the district level according to regulations.

In addition, the People's Committees of districts and cities are tasked with leading and coordinating with relevant units to continue organizing the preparation and adjustment of land use planning for the period 2021-2030 at the district level, reviewing and completing the procedures according to regulations, and submitting the dossiers to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for appraisal. Simultaneously, they must submit the plans to the District People's Council for approval before submitting them to the Provincial People's Committee for approval, ensuring that the total land use targets for the entire province are consistent and synchronized according to the aforementioned decisions and the provisions of land law and planning law.

Conduct a review and prioritize the list of key and urgent projects, public investment projects, and revenue collection projects for 2024 in the locality to balance land use targets, especially targets for rice cultivation land, forestry land, and other land types. Focus on directing the implementation and completion of the 2024 land use plan dossier at the district level, and submit it to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for review, consensus, and approval as a basis for land acquisition, land use conversion, and land allocation for investment projects in 2024.
