In the first 6 months of the year, the situation of order and traffic safety in the whole province was maintained stably, traffic accidents (TNGT) decreased sharply in all 3 criteria, thereby ensuring security and order in the province, creating momentum for economic and social recovery and development. As of June 14, there were 58 traffic accidents (including traffic collisions) in the province; killing 19 people, injuring 54 people, causing property damage of about 176.7 million VND. Compared to the same period in 2022, there were 8 fewer cases, 6 fewer deaths, 7 fewer injuries; property damage decreased by 47.7 million VND.

Concluding the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the functional forces to strengthen patrolling, controlling and handling violations of order and traffic safety, handling high-risk behaviors leading to traffic accidents, such as: Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, speeding, overloading; strengthening inspection and handling of violations in transport business activities; the situation of illegal vehicles, illegal bus stations, and vehicles disguised as fixed-route vehicles in the area. Tighten discipline in training, testing, and granting driving licenses; technical safety inspection and environmental protection for vehicles; promptly repair and fix damaged and degraded roads; coordinate with road management units on national highways to review and assess the current situation to propose traffic reorganization plans, promptly overcome unreasonable traffic organization, resolve "black spots", complex traffic routes, and potential risks of causing traffic accidents...
