Implementing the Project of Planning high-tech shrimp seed production areas

On August 12, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 3656/KH-UBND to implement the 1/2,000 scale Zoning Plan for the An Hai high-tech shrimp seed production area and the Son Hai high-tech shrimp parent production area by 2030.

Accordingly, the Construction Zoning Plan (scale 1/2,000) for the An Hai high-tech aquaculture seed production area and the Son Hai high-tech shrimp broodstock production area in the 2021-2030 period has a total area of 205.7 hectares, of which: An Hai high-tech aquaculture seed production area, An Hai commune (Ninh Phuoc) has an area of about 168 hectares and Son Hai high-tech shrimp broodstock production area, Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam) has an area of about 37.7 hectares.

Based on the content of the Construction Zoning Plan (scale 1/2,000) for the An Hai high-tech aquaculture seed production area and the Son Hai high-tech shrimp broodstock production area for the period 2021-2030 approved by the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, local authorities and related units will develop plans for each unit in accordance with the nature, goals and development orientations according to the determined zoning plan. In particular, special attention will be paid to investing in the construction of a system of technical infrastructure works. The technical infrastructure of the An Hai high-tech aquaculture seed production area and the Son Hai high-tech shrimp broodstock production area must be synchronous, complete, and effectively connected with the general technical infrastructure network of the southern coastal tourist area of Ninh Thuan province. At the same time, closely coordinate investment promotion and attraction work and create favorable conditions for investors to access, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of planning work.

The tasks of implementing investment in construction of projects and works are divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 from 2024 to 2025; Phase 2 from 2026 to 2030. Regarding investment capital, it will be implemented by capital of infrastructure investors, socialized sources and local budget public investment capital; investment in technical infrastructure works (traffic, electricity supply, water supply, regional drainage system...) will be implemented by local budget investment capital, or in the form of socialization; investment in technical infrastructure of production zones and production and business establishments will be implemented by capital of infrastructure investors and secondary investors...
