On the morning of May 16, the thematic exhibition "Ho Chi Minh in visual arts" in commemoration of the 135th anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) opened at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi ).

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum Nguyen Anh Minh emphasized that the exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh in the visual arts” introduces 60 works selected from a collection of hundreds of works by Vietnamese and foreign painters, sculptors, and artisans about President Ho Chi Minh, including different genres and materials such as painting, graphics, sculpture, embroidery, paper carving, and statues by folk artisans...
The works displayed in the exhibition depict important milestones in the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, from his youth, through the years of wandering in search of a way to save the country, to his return to the country and directly leading the Vietnamese revolution to success...

Some works include “Cau Coong Hoc Khai Tam” by artist Van Giao, “Spring Uncle Ho returned to Pac Bo” by artist Duong Tuan, “Uncle Ho read the Declaration” by artist Nguyen Duong… Images of President Ho in the Viet Bac resistance zone through the works “President Ho worked in the Viet Bac resistance zone” by artist Phan Ke An, “Uncle Ho worked in Viet Bac” by artist Nguyen Van Ty; Uncle Ho went on a campaign through the works “Leaving the grass hut, Uncle continued to march” by artist Trong Kiem, “Uncle Ho went to work” by artists Tran Dinh Tho, Nguyen Thu, Nguyen Dai Luong…

The exhibition is not only a tribute and deep gratitude to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, Outstanding Cultural Celebrity, but also a valuable opportunity for the public at home and abroad to understand more about his great life and career.
The exhibition runs until May 30.
