Exhibition "Mountains and Rivers Connected One Strip" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
The exhibition aims to introduce to the public, especially the young generation, a better understanding of the journey of fighting to regain independence and freedom for the nation, towards the day the country is completely unified.
The exhibition space introduces to the public more than 200 documents, equivalent to nearly 450 pages of text, maps, and valuable images selected from the Vietnam National Archives, Vietnam News Agency, and collections from individuals and organizations.
With rich and diverse content, the exhibition contributes to vividly recreating a heroic historical period of the nation - the days of the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country. This is a brilliant milestone opening a new era: Peace , independence, unity and development to build the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Mr. Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the State Records and Archives Department, said: “The exhibition is not just a display event but also has a profound meaning in terms of the role of historicaleducation and spreading patriotism through archival documents. These “witnesses of history” tell the heroic story of the historic April days of the past.”

The exhibition “Non Song Lien Mot Dai” is divided into three main contents, closely following each historical milestone. The first part, titled “Paris Agreement on Vietnam - the door to peace”, introduces 19 documents and images currently preserved at the National Archives Center II, Vietnam News Agency, including many documents classified as secret and top secret by the Saigon government.
Part 2 is "The historical process of the resistance war against the US to save the country in the great victory of Spring 1975", reflected through 133 document units, including texts, images, maps currently kept at the Vietnam National Archives, the US National Archives, Vietnam News Agency, museums, photojournalists,...
The final part is "The Country and Rivers Are One", introducing more than 50 images of the joy of the people and nation breaking the chains of slavery and colonial and imperialist invasion, enthusiastically welcoming the great victory of Spring 1975.

Also part of the series of thematic exhibitions celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, there are two other notable exhibitions with the themes: “The value of a heritage source” and “50 imprints of urban planning in Saigon - Cho Lon - Ho Chi Minh City”. Both exhibitions are closely linked to the flow of history, national culture and the urban development process of Ho Chi Minh City.

The thematic exhibition series “Non song lien mot doi” is open to the public throughout the April 30 holiday and will last until June 2025, at the National Archives Center II (No. 2 Ter Le Duan, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
