One of the three photographers in the exhibition is Ms. Tran Thanh Thao, born in 1979 in Hanoi , is the Leica M11 ambassador in Vietnam. With more than two decades in the creative field, she started her photography journey in 2018. If graphic design is a colorful space, then photography is her intense, silent dialogue with herself. Tran Thanh Thao shares about her creative inspiration in the Red exhibition: “I love all colors, but red always makes a special impression on me. It evokes warmth and passion. When I think of red, I often think of fire - a lively and energetic image.”

Meanwhile, Tin Phung, born in 1987 in Ho Chi Minh City, started taking photos in 2008 and recorded everyday moments with optimism and faith in the beauty of life. In particular, in this exhibition, Tin Phung introduces a series of photos of the opera troupe, a traditional art form, as a way of telling cultural stories through the language of photography. Red, a color often appearing in opera costumes, is exploited by him as a visual highlight and cultural symbol, symbolizing loyalty, courage and justice, noble qualities of traditional characters.

The final third of the exhibition space is dedicated to Hoang Le Giang, born in 1988, known as an “explorer” who has traveled to more than 50 countries and territories. Giang’s works are often calm, focusing on the connection between people and their living environment. In the exhibition, Hoang Le Giang chose photos of vast landscapes with a red accent, as a contrast to the vast space. Giang shared: “The color of nature contrasts with the red in the center, sometimes a tree but often something created by humans.” He was impressed with the photo of the aurora in a red house, where the scene was cold but the house looked warm, recalling the feeling he had when he was studying in Northern Europe.
