The exhibition is a cultural and tourism activity within the framework of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025; celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Hue City (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025) and welcoming Hue City to become a centrally-run city, aiming to introduce and promote tangible and intangible cultural values, scenic spots of the country and people of Vietnam built along the length of national history.
Activities at the Exhibition contribute to enhancing exchanges between provinces and cities in organizing activities to link tourism development and cultural and artistic culture.
The exhibition introduces traditional handicraft products of industrial and handicraft villages in regions, encourages and motivates the creative working spirit of artisans, and is an opportunity for artisans to exchange and promote the potential of craft village tourism, expand relationships between traditional craft villages, and gradually integrate into the international economy .
The Exhibition is scheduled to take place from April 27 to May 2 at the Hue City Cultural - Cinema Center, 41A Hung Vuong, Thuan Hoa District.
The exhibition "Tourism Space, Cultural Heritage, and Famous Landscapes of Vietnam" includes a general exhibition area with a photo exhibition "Travel through Vietnam's cultural heritage and famous landscapes" introducing photo works about the country and people of Vietnam that have been honored by UNESCO: world cultural heritage; world natural heritages, mixed cultural and natural world heritages; intangible cultural heritage; documentary heritage; special national relics, tangible and intangible cultural heritages in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, famous landscapes and typical cultural life of the Vietnamese ethnic communities in all regions of the country.
There is also a photo exhibition "Vietnam's capital regions past and present", introducing images of tourism and cultural heritage of Vietnam's capital regions: Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hue City and Hanoi.
The third photo exhibition in the exhibition, titled “Cultural Heritage of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups”, introduces ethnic cultural heritages across regions of Vietnam, from the Northern Delta, the Northern Valley and Mountainous Region, the Central ethnic groups, the culture of the Truong Son - Tay Nguyen region to the Southern region, introducing types of cultural heritage and intangible culture of cultural regions.
Within the framework of the Exhibition, there will also be a display and performance of light sculpture art in the collection "Capital Sediments", introducing the characteristics of Hue such as lotus flowers, Hue girls, images of the ancient capital, conical hats...
There is also a Vietnamese Tea Culture Space to display, introduce products and exchange tea culture of the provinces: Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen...; Exhibition Space "Vietnamese Silk and Ao Dai Story" to introduce Vietnamese silk, Vietnamese Ao Dai collections...; Ancient Vietnamese Ceramics Display Area to introduce Vietnamese ceramic products.
The exhibition contents are implemented by the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts in collaboration with the Museum of Culture and Ethnic Groups of Vietnam, Mui Ne Antiquities Museum, units, artisans, photographers, antique collectors, etc.
Another content of the Exhibition is the "Cultural Heritage Tourism and Scenic Spots" Space of provinces/cities, introducing tourism, heritage, culture as well as traditional products of more than 30 provinces and cities across the country.
The exhibition also includes the display of "Craft village products, OCOP products, traditional cuisine and consumer products" to promote and introduce craft village products, OCOP products and traditional cuisine nationwide with about 30 participating units.
Next to it is the Consumer Product Display and Sales Area displaying, introducing and selling high-quality products and consumer goods to serve the shopping needs of visitors.
Within the framework of the Exhibition, there is also a Cultural and Artistic Exchange Program, a Mass Art Festival including folk and modern singing, dancing, music performances, performances of traditional costumes of Vietnamese ethnic groups; performances of Vietnamese Ao Dai...
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 27 at the Hue City Cinema and Cultural Center stage and close on May 2.
