During the 5-day holiday, there were 2 cases of social order violations in Tri Ton district.

During the holidays celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) from April 30 to May 4, the political security situation and social order and safety in Tri Ton district were well controlled; the security situation along the border was stable.

Vinh Gia Border Guard Station and Lac Quoi Border Guard Station in coordination with the police and military of Lac Quoi and Vinh Gia communes have increased patrols and controls to ensure border security and prevent illegal entry and exit.

The police force of 15 communes and towns simultaneously launched a plan to attack and suppress crime, ensuring security and order. Through the deployment, the police force handled 1 case of fighting causing injuries in Vinh Phuoc commune, involving 2 subjects; 1 case of organizing cockfighting for money in Ba Chuc town, involving 4 subjects; tested 11 subjects suspected of illegal drug use, the results showed that 8 subjects tested positive, the police of the communes have established management records according to regulations.

Local police also organized over 200 patrols to ensure security, order and social safety in the area. Thereby, handling 1 traffic violation case (in Tan Tuyen commune); clearing and reminding 25 cases of buying and selling encroaching on the roadside at Lo Gach bridge and Ranh culvert (Luong An Tra commune). In addition, coordinating with the Chau Phu Regional Traffic Police Station (Department PC08 - An Giang Provincial Police) to organize patrols and control to ensure security and order in Nui To commune and Tri Ton town; as a result, 3 violations were detected. There were no traffic accidents or fires.
