Sufficient material reserves to serve key traffic projects in the province.

The meeting reviewed and approved 19 contents and gave opinions on 6 contents. In particular, some important contents related to investment policies for key traffic projects and works in the province such as: PPP contract for the project of investing in the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway through Binh Duong province; investment policy for the main road project DT.14 in Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen city; investment policy for the road project from Tan Ba market intersection (DT.747A, Tan Uyen) connecting D21 road (Tan Hanh ward, Bien Hoa); investment policy for the road connecting Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 with Bien Hoa airport (Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Pham Van Dieu streets); approved the investment policy for the project of building the Saigon riverside road phase 3 from Bay Tra canal to Ba Lua canal; draft decision promulgating the process of collecting, transporting and treating domestic solid waste in the province.

At the meeting, delegates also discussed and proposed solutions to ensure the source of sand and stone materials for key projects and works.

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Minh Thanh, through surveying the sand source on Thi Tinh River in terms of quality as well as mining reserves, it is capable of supplying for key projects in the area. Particularly, 3 quarries have quite large reserves, which can meet the needs of the Ho Chi Minh - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway and Ring Road 4 projects in the coming time. Therefore, it is possible to increase mining capacity to ensure the source of raw materials to meet the needs of key projects in the province.

Leaders of departments and branches spoke at the meeting

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh basically agreed with the contents of the draft report. At the same time, he noted that for projects connecting with Dong Nai province that have been agreed upon in principle by the two localities, departments and branches need to urgently complete procedures for early implementation.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh emphasized that the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee is to prioritize resources for key projects being implemented and feasible projects to be implemented in 2025. In particular, for the key project of the Saigon River road through Thuan An City, the key section of An Son connecting Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City, it is necessary to soon complete the project feasibility report to submit at the next meeting.

The completed Saigon riverside road project from Bay Tra canal to Ba Lua canal will contribute to the route from Thu Dau Mot city to Thuan An city along the riverside road.
