Displaying many "national treasures" at the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name"

On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province and other provinces and cities organized the exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - the most beautiful name" from May 16 to 20, 2025 at the Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center, Ho Tung Mau walking street, Vinh city, Nghe An.

According to the Vietnam Center for Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), along with Nghe An, the provinces and cities participating in the exhibition include: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Hue city, Quang Binh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Ho Chi Minh city. This is a cultural activity of profound political and social significance within the framework of the "Sen Village Festival 2025", aiming to honor and pay tribute to the great contributions and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolution; expressing the gratitude and respect of the people of the whole country and international friends for Him - the Hero of National Liberation and an outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam.

The exhibition includes scientifically arranged displays, highlighting the life, revolutionary career and ideology of President Ho Chi Minh. The general exhibition area named “Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name” introduces many images, documents, and artifacts, divided into special topics.

The exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of National Liberation” highlights the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - who devoted his whole life to the cause of national independence, peace, democracy and social progress; led the entire people to successfully carry out the August Revolution in 1945, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and successfully carried out two great resistance wars, won national independence, unified the country, and built socialism.

In the content of "President Ho Chi Minh - An outstanding cultural figure", the Organizing Committee introduces to the public images, documents, and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnamese culture. The public will learn about typical works of President Ho Chi Minh that are recognized as national treasures such as: "The Revolutionary Path", "Prison Diary", "The Call for National Resistance", "The Call for Compatriots and Soldiers of the Whole Country" and "Testament". In addition, there are valuable literary and journalistic works of diverse genres and unique creative styles such as: The Petition of the People of An Nam, The Verdict of the French Colonial Regime, The Political Platform, along with many articles and poems of President Ho Chi Minh sent to compatriots and soldiers of the whole country.

The content of “President Ho Chi Minh with the people of all ethnic groups in Vietnam, with the People’s Armed Forces and Vietnamese youth” displays images, documents and artifacts about the close relationship between President Ho Chi Minh and the people of all ethnic groups, with the People’s Armed Forces and the Vietnamese youth generation; the “red addresses” marking the places where he stopped, lived and worked.

The content section "President Ho Chi Minh in the hearts of friends and people around the world" introduces images and documents about the sincere love and respect of people around the world for President Ho Chi Minh during his foreign activities.

At this exhibition, visitors can also admire the display and performance of light sculptures about President Ho Chi Minh; the display area “Lotus in Vietnamese cultural life”; the space for tea and lotus culture; the “Vietnamese Lotus” ao dai collections, photos of Vietnamese lotus; souvenirs, cuisine and specialties from lotus.

In addition, the public can also visit the exhibition areas of the units: People's Public Security Museum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Military Region 5 Branch and Museum of Region 5, Ho Chi Minh Campaign Museum - Military Region 7.

The exhibition opening ceremony takes place at 7:30 p.m. on May 16, 2025.
