Both sides agreed to strengthen close coordination on regional and global issues, marking a significant step forward in the strategic partnership between the two powers. The highlight of the meeting was the consensus on enhancing communication and coordination, sending a clear signal about the formation of a new axis of cooperation in the Middle East.

In the joint statement, Beijing officially acknowledged Riyadh's important role: "China appreciates Saudi Arabia's leadership and efforts to achieve regional and international security and stability." This recognition affirms Saudi Arabia's indispensable position in China's Middle East policy.
Both sides also expressed common positions on pressing regional issues. China expressed support for the development and strengthening of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, building on Beijing's successful mediating role in the 2023 reconciliation process.
At the same time, both countries reaffirmed their support for a “comprehensive and just solution” to the Palestinian issue and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. These points of agreement demonstrate a relationship that goes beyond symbolic declarations, moving toward substantive cooperation on complex diplomatic issues.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized Riyadh's strategic importance, stating: "China has always regarded Saudi Arabia as a 'priority in its Middle East foreign policy' and an important partner in its global foreign policy."
This strategic vision is complemented by plans to expand economic cooperation, creating a natural convergence between China's Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Wang Yi encouraged both sides to strengthen cooperation in key areas such as energy, investment, new energy, and green transformation.
One concrete and practical outcome of the meeting was an agreement to waive visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports from both countries, aiming to promote direct exchanges and cooperation.
