Dong Nai Medical College connects jobs for nearly 500 students

(DN)- On June 3, Dong Nai Medical College organized a 2025 job fair with the participation of nearly 500 students preparing to graduate and many medical facilities and businesses inside and outside the province.

Hospitals: Dong Nai General Hospital, Thong Nhat General Hospital, Dong Nai Children's Hospital, Hoan My Dong Nai, Thuan My ITO Dong Nai, Dong Nai -2; Long Chau Pharmacy, Pharmacity Pharmacy... participated in the festival with the need to recruit a large number of nurses, technicians, pharmaceutical representatives...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice Principal of Dong Nai Medical College, said that this is the 6th year the school has organized a job fair. In the near future, nearly 500 students from nursing, pharmacy, testing, rehabilitation, midwifery, and medical students will graduate. Therefore, the job fair is very important to the students.

According to statistics from Dong Nai Medical College, the rate of students who have jobs after graduation is over 95% each year. Over the years, the school and hospitals and medical facilities in and outside the province have coordinated well. From sending students to medical facilities for internships to organizing seminars and training programs on scientific research, introducing students to work at units after graduation.

Deputy Director of Dong Nai Children's Hospital Nguyen Trong Nghia shared that the hospital participated in the Job Fair with the hope of recruiting future nurses who truly love their profession and care for sick children. From there, they will build a team of high-quality nurses who will be committed to their profession and the hospital for a long time.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Nghia added that according to regulations, after graduation, students must practice at a hospital for 6 months to be granted a practice certificate. Students who commit to working at a hospital after 6 months of practice will be trained by the hospital for free. The minimum salary for new nurses is 6 million VND/month. In addition, nurses also enjoy other policies such as support for rent and on-duty fees; if they become civil servants, they will receive support from the province. Total income is about 10 million VND/month or more.
