This year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training continues to apply the principle that each candidate can register for 3 wishes to enter public high schools in the order of NV1, NV2 and NV3, in which NV1 and NV2 must be in the prescribed enrollment area, NV3 can be in any enrollment area.

Therefore, it is very difficult for candidates to predict how many applications they will receive each year. When the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announces the number of students applying, it is only for candidates and parents to refer to, and they cannot adjust their applications.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said that the fact that students are not allowed to change their admission wishes after registering and each candidate is allowed to register 3 admission wishes has long been highly appreciated by schools, parents, students and public opinion, contributing to the stability of Hanoi's admission work over the past many years. However, in the coming time, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will consider if there is a more suitable plan.
