The Ministry of Education and Training has just sent a document to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training regarding enrollment in non-specialized classes at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted for the 2024-2025 school year.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, based on the provisions of Circular No. 05/2023/TT-BGDDT dated February 28, 2023 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the regulations on organization and operation of specialized high schools, specialized classes are only organized in specialized high schools.
Non-specialized classes that have been enrolled and organized in specialized high schools continue to comply with the provisions of Circular No. 06/2012/TT-BGDDT of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the regulations on organization and operation of specialized high schools and Circular No. 12/2014/TT-BGDDT of the Minister of Education and Training amending and supplementing Article 23 and Article 24 of the regulations on organization and operation of specialized high schools promulgated together with Circular No. 06/2012/TT-BGDDT until the end of grade 12.
Admission to non-specialized classes of specialized high schools according to regulations in Circular No. 06/2012/TT-BGDDT and Circular No. 12/2014/TT-BGDDT will be implemented until the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
With this document from the Ministry of Education and Training, in the 2024-2025 school year, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted will not enroll students in non-specialized classes like previous years.
This regulation also applies to all specialized schools nationwide from the 2024-2025 school year.
