In 2025, Hanoi will have 12 public high schools with standard scores from 23.75 to 25.5 points, an average of 7.9 points/subject to 8.5 points/subject to be admitted.
Besides 119 public high schools, Hanoi also has more than 100 private high schools.
Leading the private school sector is Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School with a benchmark score of 24.5 points. With this benchmark score, an average of 8.16 points per subject is required for a candidate to be admitted to the school.

Marie Curie School announced the benchmark scores at all 3 campuses with scores ranging from 21-23, averaging from 7 - 7.66 points/subject.
Accordingly, in the first round, the benchmark score for My Dinh campus is 23 points; Van Phu campus is 22 points; Viet Hung campus is 21 points.
Candidates complete admission procedures from July 10-11.
After the first admission round, if there are still quotas, this school will lower the admission scores for all 3 campuses to 21 points, 19 points, and 18 points respectively to recruit enough students.
Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School said that in the 2025-2026 school year, it will enroll 2 10th grade classes with about 60 students. The standard score according to the exam results of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is 23 points, in which, the required score for the Math and English exams is from 7-8 or higher.
Ta Quang Buu Secondary and High School has announced the standard score is 19 points, an average of 6.33 points/subject. This school opened the registration portal from July 5 and received original documents immediately after.
