
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai expressed his emotion and acknowledged the great contributions of architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski in preserving historical relics in Hoi An, My Son Sanctuary, Hue Imperial City... of Vietnam, contributing to promoting and helping these relics to be listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List as well as strengthening the friendly relations between Vietnam and Poland.
Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai said that Polish architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski, known to the Vietnamese people as “Kazik”, left a “priceless legacy” for Vietnam; until now, the Vietnamese people still remember “Kazik” with memories and admiration; wishing that his memory will live forever in the hearts of every Vietnamese and Polish person.
At the ceremony, in a solemn and cozy atmosphere, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai awarded the Friendship Medal of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the family representative, Professor Bartłomiej Kwiatkowski, son of the late architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski.

On behalf of the family of the late architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski, Professor Bartłomiej Kwiatkowski expressed his honor and emotion when being awarded the Friendship Medal by the State of Vietnam - a noble award in recognition of the contributions of the late architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski in the preservation of historical relics in Vietnam; and thanked the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland for solemnly organizing this ceremony.
Before the ceremony, Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai laid flowers at the grave of the late architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowski at the Lublin city cemetery.
